A clickable mockup became a real product
It started as a front-end mockup with fake data. On day one it got a real backend, and the mockup's screens became the app.
$ git log init backend + frontend
Chapter 2 of 6 ·
Care packages, tokens and invoices
Patients buy care packages that turn into tokens with an expiry date. A normal session costs one token, a premium one costs two, with clear rules for missed and refunded sessions.
Payments go through Razorpay, and every purchase sends a PDF invoice by email.
$ git log feat: implement invoice generation and email functionality
Chapter 3 of 6 ·
A therapy session shouldn't need a tech support call
Every booking creates its own Google Meet link and a calendar invite for the patient. Admins can move or cancel sessions, and clinicians see their whole practice in one dashboard.
$ git log feat: add booking management for admin to move or cancel patient sessions
Chapter 4 of 6 ·
Built for people on a hard day
Small decisions that matter on a trauma platform:
- Consent documents, versioned, that must be accepted before booking
- A gentle feedback prompt after sessions that can always be skipped
- A "Grace Protocol" for sessions a clinician has to end early
- Self-signup limited to patients; clinicians are invited
$ git log feat: implement session feedback system with rating prompt and skip functionality
Chapter 5 of 6 ·
One-click backup and restore
Health data can't be lost. Backups go straight to Google Cloud Storage and can be restored with one click. The whole stack runs in Docker behind Caddy on a VPS with scripted deploys.
$ git log feat: implement backup and restore functionality with direct GCS uploads

Live and taking bookings
manasacare.com is live: marketing site, booking, payments and the three dashboards behind it.
$ git log feat: update meeting link management to include patient calendar invites and improve event synchronization
