Chapter 1 of 5
Start from what dispatchers hate
The redesign began with written feedback from the people using the old dashboard every day: what they couldn't find, and what they checked twenty times a shift.
Chapter 2 of 5 ·
A sidebar that works on a phone in a truck stop
One searchable sidebar for almost a hundred screens: logistics, people, carriers, accounting, maintenance and reports. Delayed deliveries, night and weekend pickups and proof-of-delivery tracking sit on the first screen.
$ git log feat: implement sidebar component with context and mobile support
Chapter 3 of 5 ·
Money, at a glance
Gross and net revenue against daily, weekly and monthly goals, receivables ageing, top customers, and carrier and driver settlements with their paperwork status.
$ git log feat: add AR Aging Card, Outstanding Invoices Card, and Revenue Trend Chart Card components; update Dashboard layout
Chapter 4 of 5
Drivers, dispatchers and their paperwork
Driver records with licence and medical expiry dates so nothing lapses unnoticed, and dispatcher reports for loads, revenue and profit per person.
Chapter 5 of 5 ·
Built to be filled with real data
Every table is driven by one data-page configuration, so wiring the real API in means swapping the sample generator for a fetch. The demo runs on a seeded generator: invented companies, carriers and drivers that look the same on every load.
